Trust Thamesmead have announced their summer 2013 Boredom Busters activities programme taking place during the school summer holiday, which is bursting at the seams!
With everything from Bat Hunts, Bug Hunts, Bird Watching, week-long Football, Cricket and Tennis courses, four-day Netball and three-day Golf classes and Photography, Cookery, Indoor Climbing, Archery, High Ropes & Street Dance to choose from as well as Recording Sessions, a week-long Glee Choir school and various free events, there's something for every little one.
Sporting Club Thamesmead’s Centre Manager, Simon Jones, who led the project, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer such a huge range of activities to the residents of Thamesmead. Not only will it enable local young people to participate in an activity they may never have taken part in before, a lot of the activities encourage family interaction which is paramount in any child’s life.
“We are really looking forward to showcasing Trust Thamesmead’s The Link Thamesmead and Sporting Club Thamesmead and highlighting to residents what it is their two local, community and sport and leisure facilities offer on a daily basis and we hope they sign-up to take part in our on-going activities too.”
To book either pop into The Link Thamesmead in Belvedere Road (under the Harrow Manor Way flyover) or telephone 020 8320 4499.
