THREE men arrested in connection with the murder of Drummer Lee Rigby in Woolwich have been released on bail this morning.

The men, aged 21, 24 and 28, who were arrested in south-east London on suspicion of conspiracy to murder on Saturday (May 25), have now been bailed to return to a station in London.

Michael Adebolajo, aged 28, and 22-year-old Michael Adebowale remain under armed guard and in a stable condition in separate hospitals.

The pair were arrested on suspicion of murder at the scene of Wednesday's killing after being shot by police.

A 22-year-old man arrested yesterday (May 26) in north London is also still being held on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.

His arrest by counter-terrorism police in the Highbury Grove area was the ninth arrest as part of the investigation.

The other three people - a 31-year-old woman, a 29-year-old man, and a 29-year-old woman - were arrested on Thursday on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.

The two women were released without charge on Friday, and the man was released on bail on Saturday pending further inquiries.
