A MARQUEE in Catford Broadway is the unlikely venue for a monthly pop-up restaurant.
The Catford Broadway Supper Club held its first dinner on Thursday, May 16, as part of Love Your Local Market fortnight.
Catford restaurant Mama Wang’s Kitchen were the hosts for the themed night dubbed Terracotta Nights on the Broadway.
Chinese food from the Xian region were served to a packed marquee of locals.
The supper club will be held on the third Thursday of the month until October as part of plans to regenerate Catford and reinvigorate the evening economy.
The next event will be from 6.30pm on June 20 with South African delicacies in the themed The Ubuntu Experience.
