POLICE have released images of four men they would like to speak to after an iPad was snatched from a man's hands on a train at Anerley station.

Since the incident, which occurred on March 30, the British Transport Police (BTP) have followed several lines of enquiry, and they are now calling the public for help.

Detective Constable Mark Agrippa, who is investigating, said: "The victim, a man in his twenties, was travelling on a West Croydon to Dalston Junction service and was using his iPad.

"When the train approached Anerley, around 7.45pm, he was approached by two men.

"The iPad was snatched out of his hands by one of the group, while the others kept watch and held the doors open.

"All four then ran out of the train with the iPad."

The BTP believe the four men can help with their enquiries and hope members of the public may recognise them.

DC Agrippa added: "The stills we have are of excellent quality and I'm sure someone must know these men or their whereabouts.

"Thankfully incidents of this nature are rare on the railway network, but when they do happen, we do everything we can to ensure the offenders are brought to justice."
