TWO men have appeared before magistrates in connection with an alleged knife incident in Sidcup town centre.
Bexley police were called to Sidcup High Street by a CCTV operator following reports of a knife being brandished at 9.30pm on Wednesday, May 15.
Jason Shepherd, 21, and Jake Martin, 19, both unemployed and from Sidcup, were arrested that evening.
Shepherd, of Mallard Walk, has been charged with affray and possessing an offensive weapon, and Martin, of Waring Road, possessing an offensive weapon and driving without insurance.
The pair appeared at Bexley Magistrates Court on Friday. (May 17)
They did not enter a plea and have been remanded in custody to appear at Bromley Magistrates Court on Thursday, May 23.
