A TRIDENT shootings team is investigating after a man was shot in the leg in Downham.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Ravenscar Road at around 9.30pm on Saturday (May 18) and found the man, believed to be aged 31, suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was taken to a south London hospital for treatment and then later discharged himself.
A Met Police spokesman says it is being investigated by Trident officers and there have been no arrests so far.
