TWO men have been charged in connection with eight armed robberies across Kent – including two on the same Gravesend newsagents.
Robert Powsey and Duncan Snape, both 41, are alleged to have targeted McColls newsagents in Leander Drive on March 3 and 31.
Powsey, of Peacock Rise in Chatham, and Snape, of Chapel Yard in Wandsworth, are charged with armed robberies on six newsagents across the county between March last year and March 31.
The pair were arrested on Wednesday (May 15) and both remanded to appear at Maidstone Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on Friday, May 24.
