A FREE family fun-day is being organised in Swanley for children and adults during half term.

More than 50 activities will be available to try at St Mary’s Recreation Ground including a giant bouncy castle, football skills workshops and a bike stunt display.

There will also be a skate jam and portable mountain bike track, dance and build-a-rocket competitions and face painting.

Councillor Pat Bosley said: "There’ll be the chance to try out new sports, watch demonstrations, have a free health check and even receive crime prevention advice."

The event is is being organised by Sevenoaks District Council to mark the launch of their community plan, which sets out residents' priorities for the next three years and how the council plans to meet them.

The event on May 28 runs from 11am to 3.30pm.
