As part of our campaign for a new minibus, Stone Scout Group is going to embark on the Three Peaks Challenge!
On May 18, we will begin ascending and descending Ben Nevis, Scaffel Pike and Mount Snowdon in 24 hours, the tallest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales.
The total distance to be walked is estimated at 42 kilometers with a total ascent of 9,800 feet (3,000 m).
As part of our training we embarked on the Yorkshire Three peaks last month which took 3 mountains, 25.5 miles in 12.5 hours as well as our individual training.
The team includes: Neil Brunsdon, Paul Pritchard, Dan Baker, Kelvin Hoadley, Ben Pritchard, Adrian Reeve, Daryl Hoadley, Sam Pritchard, Alan Ball, Nigel Pike, Del Parker and Paul Tolhurst.
We will be looking for sponsorship in the run-up to the event so please support us in any way you can! Oh, and wish us luck!
