A SERIES of free healthy eating workshops are being hosted by Bexley Council to help local residents cook well for less.
The sessions will offer advice on how to make a balanced meal on a tight budget.
Councillor Chris Taylor said: "Everyone's health is important and we all need to eat a balanced diet to prevent health problems later on.
"It can be difficult to encourage your family to live a healthy lifestyle, and some people would like help to make healthier choices.
"These workshops will provide some very useful tips on how to manage on a budget - including some tasty recipes."
Participants will also be able to set themselves personal or family goals and receive ongoing support to achieve them.
The first workshop will be held at Resources Plus in Erith High Street between 10am and midday on June 5.
Another is planned in July.
