PEPPA Pig made an appearance in Chislehurst at the weekend, at a fundraiser for the children's ward of Darent Valley Hospital, Dartford.
In addition to an appearance from the nation's favourite cartoon pig, the event, which took place at the Lounge in White Horse Hill, featured a bouncy castle, games and stalls.
It was the brainchild of Nadine Printer, 23, of Smugglers Walk, Greenhithe, whose two young children, Beau, one, and Mila, eight months, have stayed at the hospital.
She told News Shopper: "The event went brilliantly, there were lots of people there and the children loved it, especially when Peppa Pig came.
"We managed to raise £602 on the day which we were really happy with.
"I have got two children myself, Beau and Mila, and both have been in the ward - not with anything serious - but they did a really good job and it made me feel I should do something.
"If I ever have a problem with any of my kids they (Darent Valley Hospital) are there."
