A PEDESTRIAN has been taken to hospital with head and pelvic injuries after being hit by a car in Bromley town centre.

His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

The driver of the Nissan Sunny was treated for shock at the scene of the collision in College Road, near the junction of Hammelton Road.

Emergency services were called at about 7.50am and College Road was closed both ways while they dealt with the accident.

The road has since been reopened.
