POLICE in Eltham have used dispersal powers to move on 32 people since last October.
The figures have been revealed as Greenwich Council extended the powers - which allows officers to move people away if they are behaving antisocially - for a further six months.
A dispersal zone in the area around Eltham High Street was first introduced in October 2011 to deal with concerns about problem youngsters, threats to McDonalds staff and vandalism.
In all, 121 people have been dispersed since the scheme started.
It has also been credited with decreasing the amount of anti-social behaviour reported in the area.
However, a recent town centre survey showed Eltham people were still concerned about groups of youths congregating on the High Street near to bus stops.
