A FORTY-eight-year-old man fell off a bridge over the A2 near Dartford yesterday evening.
A CCTV still shows the man lying next to the London-bound carriageway between the Dartford Heath turning and the Wilmington turnoff at around 5pm yesterday.
An air ambulance was called but the patient was taken by road to King's College Hospital major trauma centre with spinal injuries though he was still conscious and breathing.
It is not thought his injuries are life threatening.
The man fell near the crash barrier and not in any of the lanes of the A2.
The slip road on the A2 at Dartford Heath was closed and all roads reopened just after 6pm.
The incident came the same day a woman died falling into the Thames from the Dartford Bridge.
