SCHOOLGIRLS have visited the House of Commons to learn about the importance of career goals.
A selection of pupils from Langley Park School for Girls in Hawksbrook Lane, Beckenham, were part of the first ever I’mPossible youth edition.
The girls listened to real life stories from a panel of five women from ethnic minorities including Diane Abbott MP.
The panellists, who all found success in their 20s, shared their experiences and the girls were asked to jot down what being aspirations meant to them.
Tochi Ejimofo, 12, from Langley Park School for Girls said: "I thought the event was really good, very motivating and inspiring."
I’mPossible founder Simone Bresi-Ando, said of the day: “We helped inspire 100 young ladies from London in the House of Commons to not only see the possibilities of others like them but to also recognise the possibilities of themselves.”
