Children from Hook Lane Primary School gardening club recently transplanted 36 trees in Danson Park.
They planted them in their tree nursery at the school 2 years ago, and have been looking after them ever since.
They came as saplings from the Earth Restoration Service in association with the World Wildlife Fund, who were celebrating their 50th birthday.
The children are delighted that Hook Lane School is helping our environment and also giving a legacy to the local community by planting their trees.
