RESEARCH has revealed Bromley Council is losing £318 a year per working age adult due to local government cuts.

The austerity measures have been mapped on an online map by the Financial Times with data analysed by Sheffield Hallam University.

Although it emerged yesterday the UK has narrowly a triple-dip recession, many are still affected by budget cuts, reduced income and unemployment.

In January the News Shopper reported on how some Bromley residents were being drawn to crime as they struggled to survive.

Earlier this month Beckenham MP Colonel Bob Stewart revealed concerns for his more isolated constituents after he came across an elderly lady who was eating dog food to cut costs.
