TAKE a tour around the incredible history of London tomorrow without leaving Biggin Hill Library.
Novelist Ian Porter will be giving a free talk about the history of the capital including the Great Fire, the Guilds, Lloyds and the London Underground.
There are few tickets left for the event which is put on by Cityread London, an organisation whose aim is to bring reading to life for Londoners.
Mr Porter is a writer from Kent who started as a freelance journalist. Recent work includes Whitechapel, published in 2009, about the murderous activity in east London in the 1880s.
The talk will take place at Biggin Hill Library in Church Lane on April 26 between 10.30am and 11.30am.
