CAMERA crews are set to descend on Bexleyheath next week as the town transforms into a movie set.
A Vietnamese restaurant is the setting for a date scene in a romantic comedy called First Date.
The film makers will be shooting in Huong Quang Vietnamese Restaurant in the Broadway next Wednesday. (May 1)
Stephen Russell, the movie’s writer and director, describes it as an "offbeat, feel good, romantic comedy about the trials and tribulations of just falling into awkward, terrifying, wonderful love".
He added: "Too many short stories are so drab, miserable and depressing. Not First Date.
"We're making a fun, funny, unique romantic comedy in the mould of a Kevin Smith or Judd Apatow movie, and we can't wait!"
