PEOPLE interested in adopting a child can find out more at a special event later this week.
Bromley Council has organised an open day on Saturday (April 27)at the HG Wells Room in the Churchill Theatre in Bromley High Street.
The event will be held between 10am and 1pm and will give more information about the process and the needs of looked after children.
Everyone is welcome and there is no need to book.
Every year in England around 4,000 children are waiting for welcoming adoptive families.
