A MEETING will take place this week to discuss the future of the Porcupine Pub in Mottingham.
There has been outcry after it was closed last month and plans were announced to convert into a Lidl.
Members of the public are invited to attend the event which will take place at St Andrews Church in Court Road on April 25 at 8pm. Politicians and a Lidl representative will also be present.
Bromley and Chislehurst MP Bob Neil and councillor Charles Rideout met with residents earlier in the month to discuss concerns about the pub's future.
The current building, in Mottingham Road, dates back to the 1920s but it is thought there has been a Porcupine Inn on the site since 1650.
