AN ERITH business offering free legal advice is urging residents to join a sponsored walk to raise vital funds.
The Cross Street Law Centre, at the Erith Riverside Shopping Centre, provides free and independent advice for people who cannot afford to pay for legal representation.
The London Legal Walk, on May 20, aims to raise funds to help fund law centres and legal advice agencies across the capital.
The centre's chief executive Kathy Smith said: "We're very much looking forward to taking part in the London Legal Walk again this year.
"Everyone deserves good legal advice and representation, no matter where you come from or how much money you have."
Erith Riverside Shopping Centre manager Barry Owen added: "The law centre provides an invaluable service to all the local residents and this is a great way to ensure that it gets the funding it needs."
Residents can participate in the walk by contacting Kathy Smith or ksmith@cslawcentre.org.uk.
