DETECTIVES are still trying to trace a Plumstead boy missing since last week who has no access to money and no mobile phone.

Benjamin Endeley, 15, was last seen on the morning of April 17 at 7.30am as he set off to school from his Moordown home.

Officers and his family are growing increasingly concerned for his safety and welfare.

Benjamin is described as black, 5ft 5in tall, of slim build with short hair. He was wearing a school uniform including a black blazer, black trousers, white shirt and red and black tie.

Police have also confirmed that Benjamin does not have access to money and does not have a mobile phone. He does not appear to have a Facebook or Twitter account.

Detectives believe that Benjamin often frequented Sam chicken shop in Plumstead Road, Woolwich, where he may have spoken with children from other schools, including pupils from Plumstead Manor School.

Detective Inspector James Harper in charge of the investigation said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who may help us to retrace Benjamin’s movements on April 17.

"We are currently looking at all CCTV images at our disposal and are following a number of investigative leads. Have you seen Benjamin? Did you see him on the day he went missing?"

Anyone with information should call Plumstead police station, CID office on 020 8284 9445.
