GREENWICH Comedy Festival will no longer be held in the area, organisers say.
The week-long festival, which regularly attracts star names like Russell Howard and Tim Minchin, has been held at the Old Royal Naval College for four years.
But organisers say the college has revised its events policy, limiting the amount of time they could spend on the site to seven days and asking them to shrink its scale.
Manager Cass Briggs said: "Shrinking the festival is not possible for us to book the acts that we book.
"They reduced it so much that it wasn't possible for us to go there anymore."
The festival also no longer receives funding from Greenwich Council.
A new venue for the festival is set to be announced later this week, but Ms Briggs said it would not be in south east London.
