IT DOES not matter if you are not a member of the Twitterati, everyone is invited to a community event about social networking in Orpington.
The meeting aims to tell people how useful social media can be when used professionally to keep communities well informed – even if they do not want to post or tweet themselves.
An Orpington Tweet Up spokesman said: “Whether they already use Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, StreetPin and so on or have no idea what social networking is all about, tweet ups help people learn more about the power of social media – for both business and personal purposes.”
The Orpington Tweet Up is taking place on May 1 from 7pm at Harris HospisCare, Caritas House, Tregony Road, Orpington.
