TWO youths have been questioned by police after a fight at Bromley College.

Yesterday a 19-year-old man was interviewed under caution at Bromley Police Station about what happened at the Rookery Lane campus on Monday morning (April 15).

He has not been charged and has been released pending further inquiries.

The first suspect, a 16-year-old boy, was arrested for affray at the scene at about 10.30am on Monday.

He has been bailed until May 20 pending further inquiries.

A student who did not want to be named told News Shopper the argument started in the common room due to a disagreement about the pool table and then spilled out into the reception area.

And a Bromley police spokesman says an 18-year-old man was arrested on the campus on March 26 for possession of cannabis.

He was given an adult caution.

A Bromley Council spokeswoman said: “I can confirm there was a fight between two students on Monday.

“Both students have been suspended and are being dealt with under the college disciplinary procedure which is the normal way in which internal behavioural matters are dealt with.

“The College has no record of a cannabis arrest which you referred to.”
