A GROUP of Lee teenagers have invented a set of award-winning badges which will now go on sale at the Design Museum in central London.
Pupils at Trinity School in Taunton Road came up with the Pics Pins, which feature sections of London landmarks and can be swapped around in a unique version of the game Consequences.
The young inventors saw off competition from 100 other schools in the Design Ventura competition.
And, along with taking their design from development to production and sale, they will also receive a £1,000 bursary and guidance from professional designers to develop it.
All profits made from the pins' sales will go to the Architectural Heritage Fund.
Secondary school headteacher Dr Rachel Norman said: "It's absolutely fantastic because this is a prestigious competition.
"The pupils had to be very creative."
