APPLICATIONS have opened for 300 jobs at a new Asda store in Belvedere.
The supermarket will open in Station Road, off Lower Road, in July and 300 people have already applied for vacancies online.
New store manager Chris Good, said: "At Asda we recruit for attitude and train for skill.
"We always believe that our colleagues make the store what it is and I’m looking to recruit hard working colleagues who can deliver great customer service with a smile on their face.
"We’ve had lots of early interest and I anticipate demand in the positions to be high so I wish everyone applying the very best of luck."
Job positions are available throughout the store, including shop-floor colleagues, bakery and checkout.
The 36,000 square foot shop will feature fresh counters including fish, a George clothing department and Home Shopping.
