A BURST water main near the Dripping Tap plumbing shop in Bromley means some people in the BR2 postcode area might be without water this afternoon (April 16).
Thames Water engineers have been at the site at the junction of Homesdale Road and Masons Hill since being notified of the leak at about midnight.
As the pictures and video shows water was seen bubbling up through the road surface and gushing down the street before the engineers arrived.
It is not yet known how long it will take to repair the main.
A Thames Water spokesman said: "Water pipes at the junction of Masons Hill and Homesdale Road have burst affecting supplies to customers in the area.
“We are currently in the process of closing the junction and arranging traffic diversions while we carry out repairs to the pipes.
“Bottled water has been delivered to the area for customers whose supplies have been interrupted.
“We are very sorry for the inconvenience this is causing and are working hard to get it fixed as quickly as possible.”
