TWO men have been charged after disorder at Saturday’s Millwall v Wigan FA Cup semi-final.

Met Police officers made 14 arrests at the match, which was played at Wembley Stadium.

Of these, 12 were Millwall supporters and two were Wigan supporters.

The arrests were made as part of Operation Arrowtip, the Met’s response to football-related crime and disorder.

Richard Freeman, aged 53, from St Neots, appeared in court yesterday (April 15) charged with breach of bail conditions.

And Terance Cape, from Peckham, will appear on bail at Hendon Magistrates’ Court on May 1.

Cape, who turned 43 on the day of the match, has been charged with racially aggravated behaviour under section four of the Public Order Act.

A 15-year-old boy from Croydon who was arrested on suspicion of ticket touting has been bailed to return to a north west London police station on a date in early May.

A 24-year-old man from the Camberwell area was arrested on suspicion of theft, possession of a Class B drug and possession of an offensive weapon.

He has been bailed to return to a north west London police station on a date which has yet to be announced.

Officers are pursuing a number of lines of inquiry and further investigation will take place to identify those responsible for committing offences.
