WOOLWICH'S King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery have been practising this morning ahead of Margaret Thatcher's funeral.
The troop, who moved to Woolwich's Napier Lines last year, will draw Baroness Thatcher's coffin on a gun carriage for Wednesday's funeral.
They will transport the coffin to St Paul's Cathedral after it has been transferred from a hearse.
That gun carriage will be drawn by six horses with a sergeant riding alongside, an officer riding in front and three dismounted troops on foot.
Her cortege will travel down the Strand, along Fleet Street and up Ludgate Hill to the cathedral, with the route lined by members of the armed forces.
Guests at the funeral - estimated to cost around £10m - will include the Queen, Hillary Clinton and Jeremy Clarkson.
The service is due to start at 11am.
