FIREFIGHTERS are back at the Waste4Fuel recycling plant in St Paul’s Cray a fortnight after Bromley’s longest ever fire was finally extinguished at the site.
Four crews have been at the site in Cornwall Drive throughout the night tackling the blaze.
According to a London Fire Brigade spokesman the fire is affecting around five per cent of the 3,000 tonnes of waste on the site.
At 9.30am the number of crews is set to be scaled back to three.
Last month firefighters were called to a blaze at the site on March 18 and were there for eight days.
And in December 2011 arsonists set a fire which burned for three days.
