A FORMER Eltham teacher has appeared in court charged with a string of child pornography offences.
Andrew Hillary, aged 50, today appeared (April 10) at Bromley Magistrates’ Court accused of having 4,079 indecent movies and 83,203 indecent photographs of children.
He faces 17 counts of making an indecent photograph of a child, along with four counts of distributing such images.
Hillary is also charged with two counts of possessing an indecent photograph and possessing 100 prohibited images.
The design and technology teacher left his Eltham school last summer and is now living in Southsea, Hampshire.
He did not enter a plea and was granted conditional bail before appearing at Woolwich Crown Court on May 16.
