SUBMIT a photo of what home means to you for the chance to share in £200 of M&S shopping vouchers, in association with News Shopper and Taylor Wimpey.

Take part in our Home Sweet Home competition through News Shopper’s Facebook app – you’ll need to like our page first.

Submit a picture of the first thing that comes to mind when you see the word ‘home’. Maybe it will be something literal such as the inside or outside of your house, or perhaps something a bit different which symbolises your domestic life.

As soon as photos are submitted you, your friends and family, and the wider public will be able to vote. However, voting will be ‘just for fun’ because at the end of the contest News Shopper will select the lucky winners based on the pictures we think are the most interesting, touching or amusing. Four people will win a prize of a £50 M&S voucher.

Entries can be submitted between now and 11.59pm on April 28. After this there will be one more week for people to vote and tell us what their favourite entries are. We will then pick the winners, who will be announced the week of May 6.

HELP TO BUY

The Help to Buy scheme, which means a 5% deposit is all you need to buy a new home, is available now with Taylor Wimpey.

The government-backed scheme can get you moving, whether you’re a first-time buyer or you already own a home. Register here for updates.

With the Help to Buy scheme, you’ll need just a five per cent deposit to buy a new home costing up to £600,000. The government will lend you up to 20 per cent of the value of your new build home via an equity loan. You will only need to secure up to a 75 per cent mortgage. The Help to Buy equity loan can be repaid at any time or on the sale of your home.
