GO-KART building, gardening and pet care are just of three of the ideas a primary school has for lunchtimes and it wants volunteers to help out.
Midfield Primary School is working on an action plan to improve activities for its pupils at lunchtimes.
Part of this will be a rolling programme of projects for small groups of children which will last for a fortnight for 40 minutes during the midday break.
Anyone interested in more details about the project at the school in Grovelands Road, St Paul’s Cray, should contact its business manager Vicky Sutherland on vicky.sutherland@midfield.bromley.sch.uk or 020 8300 6161.
She said: “Do you like working with children?
“We are looking for volunteers who could offer their time and expertise.
“The opportunities for working together with the local community are endless.”
