Congratulations to 15-year-old, Martin Stupples-Surrey who recently won an iPod Touch, when his name was picked at random from a list containing contact details of those who have signed-up to become an Access Thamesmead card holder.
The Trust's Marketing & Communications Officer, Julia Hickson said: “Not only does the Access Thamesmead card give members access to our buildings but they can be kept up-to-date with all the latest news, offers and events running at The Link Thamesmead and the community halls dotted around the area that are owned and managed by Trust Thamesmead.”
And that’s not all! With the opening of Trust Thamesmead’s newest community building, Sporting Club Thamesmead opening its doors this year, the offer is set to keep on growing!
Martin’s mum, Tania Stupples told us Martin has come on “leaps and bounds” since he started attending Archway Project, which is based at The Link, in September 2011.
“It’s been the making of him. He has gained in confidence, his attendance at school is so much better and he is now planning to go to Greenwich Community College and looking forward to a career in motor mechanics thanks to what he’s learned at the project.”
