A POLICE officer is in hospital after a crash in Bromley Road, Catford, involving a car and a police motorbike.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 8.50am and treated the 41-year-old man for arm and head injuries.
He was then taken to King’s College Hospital, Denmark Hill.
A Met Police spokeswoman says the injuries to the officer, who was on a routine patrol at the time of the collision, are minor.
The car driver stopped at the scene and is not believed to be injured.
The road was closed between Culverley Road and Catford Road while accident investigation work was carried out but it has since been reopened.
