WITCHES, wizards and warewolves were on the loose in Erith as families enjoyed a fang-tastic day of halloween fun.
Children daring to shop at Erith Riverside Shopping Centre on Saturday (October 27) had the opportunity to scare their parents after being transformed into a selection of ghostly characters by a face painter.
Others chose to meet, greet and have their photo taken with a giant orange pumpkin which was roaming around the shopping centre.
Storyteller Tony Cranston also entertained children by reading his ghostly tales while halloween-themed stalls sold gifts including dragon and ghost figurines.
Shopping centre manager Barry Owen said: “The stalls provided the perfect opportunity to pick up a Halloween purchase or even make a start on your Christmas shopping with Glam Bags and Glitzy Bits offering a selection of perfect Christmas gifts.”
“Children seemed very entertained by the face painting and storytelling, and the pumpkin proved very popular.”
