"MRS BESSIE "Betty" Eary passed away at Arbour Court Nursing Home, Marple on 27th October 2009 aged 90, following a short illness. A resident of Bexleyheath for most of her years, Bessie lived a long and happy life. Over the years, together with her late husband Cyril and large circle of friends, Bessie travelled the world and enjoyed visiting the stately homes, parks and countryside of the UK. Bessie was a keen and skillful gardener Even in her 80's Bessie cared for and attended to her beloved garden, happily passing on her lnowledge to family and friends. Bessie's strength, warmth and dry sense of humour will be sadly missed by son John, daughter-in-law Janice and grandchildren Rachel and James.
