TOM NICHOLS, 60 16th September 1953 - 13th May 2014 Thomas Alfred Nichols, 60, of Meopham, Kent, passed away peacefully on Tuesday 13 May 2014 in the Liver ICU at King's College Hospital, London surrounded by the people closest to him. Born on 16 September 1953 in Swanley, Kent to Betty Hall (nee Nichols) and Joseph Pearce Nichols he lived most of his life in Swanley. Tom/Tommy/Thomas Alfred as he was known, was an incredibly kind and caring man who enjoyed socialising and long rides on his motorbike; leaves behind his daughter, Emma, granddaughter Alice, partner Jackie, mother Betty, stepfather Gordon, his four siblings: Dave, Carol, Kay and Mandy and his best pal, Billy the Labrador and Milo. Thomas' funeral will be held on Saturday 31 May 2014, 12pm at the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Swanley. All who knew Tom, are welcome to attend. Flowers can be sent to Doves in Swanley where donations are also being collected for the Liver ICU at King's College Hospital. A great man who will be greatly missed.
