Beautiful, obedient bitches and dashing stunt stars are set to wow crowds with their mind-blowing canine capabilities.
Paws in the Park, the UK’s largest outside dog show for working, trained and pet pooches, is returning for its eighth year at Kent Showground in Detling.
The furry festival, which takes place on September 22 and 23, features terrier racing, fun agility courses, Frisbee and even an AquaZone (which includes five pools) for water-mad hounds to splash around in.
The huge Companion and Obedience Show is undercover, plus there are Gun Dog Scurries and, for trained dogs, a six ring UKA Agility Show and BFA Flyball which is open to teams from all over Europe.
Paws for Thought Display Team will be impressing visitors with their fantastic arena event and Dima from Good Boy School will be back providing an amazing display of obedience with his pack of highly trained dogs.
This year, the show also welcomes new attractions and displays including Stunt and Film Dogs and Treo with his handler Sgt Heyhoe.
Labrador Treo is a former British Army Arms and Explosive Search dog who holds the distinction of being the UK's most highly decorated canine.
In 2010, Treo was awarded the Dickin Medal - considered the equivalent of the Victoria Cross for animals - for his work detecting IED's on the frontline of Afghanistan's notorious Helman province.
Sgt Heyhoe will relate the highs and lows of his deployment and offer some fascinating insights into the work of the British Army's Arms and Explosive Search Dogs.
The show has fantastic camping facilities and weekend camping includes entry to the event and free evening entertainment on Friday and Saturday night.
This includes a master class with Crufts winner Richard Curtis and his Dancing Dogs.
