Most people visit the theatre to see a play.
But The Orchard in Dartford opened its doors to 600 guests on Sunday for face painting, competitions, craft workshops and sneak previews.
The venue enjoyed a fantastically successful open day, laying on free activities for families including a theatre archive exhibition and a bouncy castle.
People were also treated to preview screenings of the 3D technology in this year’s pantomime, Aladdin, starring Steve McFadden.
The whole day was free and everyone received a goody bag as a farewell gift.
