Families will be in for a big surprise when they go down to the woods this month.
For Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice in Abbey Wood is hosting its popular Teddy Bears’ Picnic on August 25.
Between 1.30pm and 4.30pm there will be bear-themed fun for children, who are encouraged to bring along their favourite cuddly teddy.
Children will be able to explore Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ cottage and go for a jump on the bouncy castle, while adults can enjoy the BBQ tent and refreshments.
Stacey Lewis, head of fundraising at the hospice, said: “The Teddy Bears' Picnic event is one of my favourite fundraising events of the year.
“Last year, over 300 children enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of teddy bear-themed fun and magic in the hospice grounds.
“I hope families will join us for what promises to be another exciting and enjoyable time."
Tickets cost £3 per child and accompanying adults go free.
