A WEST End summer school is taking place next month for young actors in the Bexley area.
The Bexley Theatretrain four day summer school for six to 19 year olds will run from August 10-13 at the halls at Bexley Football Club in Lesley Close, Bexley.
Damien Delaney from Billy Elliot, Sarah Meade from Joseph, Oliver Tydman from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Elaine Gee from Mary Poppins will teach the youngsters skills such as dance, drama, singing, theatre make up and working with props and costumes.
Principal Joanna Belcher said: “This is an exceptional opportunity for any young person.
“It gives the students an insight in to professional West End Productions and the students get the chance to ask plenty of questions as well as try out costumes and props, they will be working with the best of the best in our industry.”
Theatretrain teaches children from the age of six to 18 dance, drama, musical theatre and singing.
Classes take place between 11am and 2pm every Saturday in term-time at Blackfen School for Girls, Sidcup.
