CHILDREN will be getting a taste of opera as the third annual Blackheath Halls Community Opera takes place this week.
Professional soloists join together with a chorus of more than 300 community members and schoolchildren as well as an amateur orchestera as part of the initiative.
The chorus includes children from Greenvale School in Grove Park, Charlton School, Wingfield School in Kidbrooke and John Ball Primary School in Blackheath
This year’s opera, Gluck’s Orpheus and Eurydice also sees 16 disabled young people taking part.
