The award-winning stand-up comedian Trevor Noah is coming to London to perform at The O2.
Host of The Daily Show, having taken over from Jon Stewart in September 2015, the South African comic will be at the iconic arena in Greenwich for one night in 2018.
It will be his first UK arena show, and his first time in two and a half years that he has performed in the UK since his two-night sell out run at Hammersmith’s Apollo in December 2015.
Noah said: “A lot has happened for me in the two years since I last performed in the UK, and by the looks of things quite a lot has been happening there too.
“Brexit has inspired everybody else to go and screw up their own countries, a baby interrupting a BBC News interview gave us the greatest moment in the history of television, ever, and Jeremy Corbyn played Glastonbury.
“I can’t wait to see what craziness goes down in the UK between now and May. I think we’ll have a few things to discuss.”
Noah will perform at The O2 on May 19 and tickets will go on sale from November 3 at 10am at theo2.co.uk or by calling 0844 856 0202.
