Who wouldn’t like to opt out of cooking Sunday lunch once in a while, and with the newly refurbished Imperial Arms pub in Chislehurst on our doorstep there’s the perfect excuse.
It has a sparkly new kitchen, where a delicious menu of freshly prepared, yet reasonably priced food is available daily.
Recently nominated as one of the ‘best pubs in London‘ in The London Pub Crawl Guide, it stocks perfectly kept real ales, such as Doombar and Harveys, along with chilled lagers and a very interesting, well priced wine list.
The pub has been completely refurbished to a very high standard by new owners Alan and Tina, under the guidance of family member, interior designer to the stars Martyn Lawrence Bullard, and will feature in his TV programme Million Dollar Decorators in the autumn.
Many of you will know Alan from his previous business Jazz Menswear in Beckenham.
A licence has now been obtained for the charming outdoor courtyard garden, along with a restaurant/function room which will be opening soon.
You’ll find The Imperial Arms in Old Hill, within walking distance of Chislehurst station and Chislehurst Caves.
