MEOPHAM-based TV presenter Laura Hamilton has already been branded the dare devil of Dancing on Ice, after attacking her routine fearlessly.
The 28-year-old, who is competing in this year's show with professional skating partner Colin Ratushniak, has already taken a chunk out of her leg following a dangerous fall in training.
But despite being taken to hospital as a result of the injury, Laura said she can't wait for her first live skate this Sunday.
She told News Shopper: "I'm really really excited and I can't wait for the live show.
"Colin is absolutely fantastic - I'm so lucky to be partnered with him. He's a great skater and he's even doing a backflip in our routine on Sunday."
The Nickelodean beauty said her debut routine is the fastest paced of all the contestants, but that she trusts her partner "100 per cent".
Two couples will be eliminated in the first week of the show, and Laura said she is desperate to stay on.
She said: "I'm hoping that my home town and people from the surrounding areas will support and be behind me.
"We're really hoping people will vote for us."
Dancing on Ice 2011 kicks off at 6.30pm on ITV this Sunday when eight couples will skate for public votes.
