THE Brit Awards will be moving from its old venue in Earls Court to The O2 in Greenwich for next year's star studded ceremony, it has been announced.
The music bash, which last year saw memorable performances from Lady GaGa, Jay-Z, JLS and Dizzee Rascal with Florence and The Machine, will be held at the landmark venue for the first time on February 15.
Speaking about the move, Brit Awards chairman David Joseph said: “Looking at what The Brits stand for – the must-see spectacle and the unique performances which stretch every artist who performs – it was clear that moving to a state-of-the-art venue like The O2 was an obvious evolution.”
