THE only Bon Jovi tribute act to be backed by the man himself comes live to Gravesend’s Woodville Halls for an evening of pure Bon Jovi brilliance.
The Bon Jovi Experience promise the show on September 16 will be everything an audience can expect from a real Bon Jovi gig with the exception of the £200 ticket.
Audiences can expect to hear all their favourite tracks, including Livin’ on a Prayer, Always, You Give Love a Bad Name and Bed of Roses.
Tony Pearce, aka Jon Bon Jovi, said: “You get everything you would normally experience at a Bon Jovi concert. You get the looks, the sound and the full show.
“It’s a fantastic tribute. Everybody in the band has a role to play and they all play it really well. We study all the live shows and after 16 years in the industry, we have got it down to a T.”
The man himself, Jon Bon Jovi, even invited Tony to his event at the Hard Rock Café in London after seeing and hearing about him online.
Tony said: “I was sat down watching the TV at 9.30pm when the phone rang. Matt Bon Jovi, Jon’s brother, was at the other end of it asking if I was available.
"I just thought, ‘yeah right, of course your Matt,’ but after spending some time asking him questions only he could know, I was convinced, and he arranged for us to perform at the Hard Rock Café.
“Jon was by the bar answering questions and he looked at me, stopped mid-sentence and said ‘you must be Tony.’ "We stood on a crate behind the bar and had our photo taken and he asked if I would mind doing a song with him. I couldn’t believe it. I thought, ‘do I mind?'
“We sung Who Said She Can’t Go Home and afterwards he shook my hand and said ‘you are the best tribute I’ve ever seen.'"
Tickets cost £16 and can be bought at the Woodville Halls Box Office, by calling 01474 33 77 74 or by visiting woodvillehalls.com
